Federal Budget 2015: Families Package unfair, says TasCOSS
PENSION reform and increased investment in child care have been welcomed by Tasmania’s peak organisation for the community sector.
But TasCOSS has attacked the overall Federal Budget for retaining many harsh cuts from last year which hurt low-income workers.
“On the whole people on low incomes are still left to do most of the heavy lifting,” TasCOSS chief executive Tony Reidy SAID.
