Federal budget 2015: Will Tony Abbott’s government get its second budget through the Senate?

It’s a kinder, gentler federal budget but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll get an easy ride in the ever-unpredictable Senate.

While the Abbott government’s new economic plan will surely prove more palatable to the upper house than the last one, it won’t simply be waved through.
